Watershed & Dryland Development

Watershed & Dryland Development

The Watershed & Dryland Development Program aims to enhance water security and agricultural sustainability in drought-prone areas. By constructing check dams, farm ponds, and percolation tanks, the program has improved groundwater recharge and water availability. Farmers are also trained in sustainable water-use practices, helping increase productivity, strengthen livelihoods, and build climate resilience in dry land regions.
