Identification of primary producers/farmers to form FIG’s and identification of already existing farmer clubs, User Groups, SHGs, JLGs, VWC, ATMA groups etc in a cluster which could be considered for organizing into FIGs for formation of FPOs. Conduct baseline survey. To facilitate FIGs for formation of FPOs. To guide FPO’s in registration as per the Companies Act. TO work in empowering the farmer through FIGs and FPOs. To prepare training material and conduct training and exposure visits. To nurture the FPOs develop organization chart, business plan using of FIGs and FP and provide handholding support. TO aid in resource mobilization process of the FPO’s. To conduct campaigns to mobilize share capital for the FPO’s. To link the FPO to the market and financial institutions for credit.
