Women Empowerment

The Women Empowerment Program aims to strengthen the social and economic status of women by promoting collective action, skills, and rights awareness. Through the formation of 6,000 Self-Help Groups and 6 women’s federations, the program has supported the rehabilitation and livelihood enhancement of nearly 1.75 lakh women through skill training in tailoring, dairy, embroidery, and other income-generating trades. The initiative has also played a vital role in preventing 392 child marriages, enrolling 6,819 girls in schools, and implementing over 50 awareness campaigns and movements, including the Beti Bachao Andolan, fostering dignity, independence, and equal opportunities for women and girls.
